After a full day of skiing, snowshoeing, boarding, etc... naps were had and the sound system was checked for damage. Drying out and naps helped things immensely and the night was a blast! Great tunes, Katie kicked some serious ass, and the crowd was unstoppable.

Thanks to all the staff at the Elk - in the deli, behind the bar, at the inn, you know who you are...

Thanks also to all our pals that made it up for the weekend - Mollie/Carrie/Phoebe/Edd/Sheri/Karis/Pablo/Scott/Jessie/Beau/Norah/Brian!
Friday, Feb 8, 2008 Snorting Elk Cellar Crystal Mountain, WA
Michal turned 30 and Katie Corcharan and Tom Rooney joined in the playing!

Friday night started a little rough. Traffic caused a late start. Rain getting into the PA head caused a bigger delay - and much need for technical improvisation. It was a good warmup and readiness exercise...

Mick's last night as he and Erin are heading for sunny Nashville, TN. Last night really epitomized why we'll miss him... he kicks ASS!

Quote of the night: "Nobody ever lets me play electric all night." - M Chegwidden

Shame of the century: Nobody ever lets Mick play electric all night.

Great times with the all-star lineup of last summer - Ken, Dave, Michael, Kjell, Mick.

Corn Mash drove from Missoula, Montana and started out the night with a great set of Mash-Rock. Real nice writing and well played stuff.
Saturday, Jan 12, 2008 Snorting Elk Cellar Crystal Mountain, WA
Yes, Saturday was just as fun!
Friday, Jan 11, 2008 Snorting Elk Cellar Crystal Mountain, WA
Oh yeah! Different year, different crowd, different vibe, same ole good times.
We get treated so right at this place its sick. Great times, great folks. Thanks, Elk.

CD Release for Ockham's Razor 's "Ten Thousand Miles To Bedlam." Great album, and great performance. Dave sitting in on the drums seemed just plain natural. Seattle's Westerly, westerlymusic.com grooved out with their nice alt-country sound. We had fun playing as well!
Saturday, Nov 17, 2007 Green Frog Acoustic Tavern Bellingham, WA
A great time at the Frog! Kjell made it up to this one and we got a hotel room. James has some nice new shirts for sale, and we appreciated multitudes of beers...
Friday, Oct 12, 2007 IBEW Local 46 Rocktoberfest Georgetown - Seattle, WA
Rocked out the Eagles hall with a bunch of live wire Seattle area electricians! Our sound greatly improved with the addition of Mr Ivan Lee.

Also on the bill were The Weatherheads and the Back Porch Blue Band, whose Mike Hepner joined in for our last two songs and sure blew the doors off (literally, with that Harmonica)! Great times that Dave surely enjoyed with the BoSox blowout.
Friday, Oct 5, 2007 Conor Byrne Pub Ballard, Seattle, WA
Ockham's Razor openend the night with a thoroughly great set - tight, fast, and funny!
Simpson's comic book guy may have noted 'worst sound ever', but it was a good time nonetheless. Next time we'll make sure to practice our Shakira intro...
Friday, Sep 28, 2007 Green Frog Acoustic Tavern Bellingham, WA
  Yeehaw!
Though Michael thought he may just pass out (or throw up on stage) it was quite a hoot.
Chickweed opened the night with some great picking and just plain wonderful songs. Scott Miles, of King Ludd, joined both CW and us for some banjering and manderlining.
One of the highlights was that we were joined for almost the entire show by the incredible (edible?) Howie! A fixture in the northwest dance community, we were surely blessed by his fancy bowin!
Saturday, Sep 15, 2007 Rainier Mountain Festival Rainier Basecamp, Ashford, WA
Another great year at the Rainier Mountain Fest. Saw the legends, ate some killer food, the boys surely enjoyed the bouncy room, enjoyed tunes by the Boys of Greenwood Glen and the ever super-duper Loose Digits!
Sunday, Sep 9, 2007 Seattle Peace Concert Series Woodland Park, Seattle, WA
Playing the Woodland Park Peace Concert Series. This summer long series features tons of great acts - local and afar. Come out this weekend to see some killer pickin!
Saturday, Sep 1, 2007 Tumbleweed Music Festival Richland, WA
Another great weekend in the desert! Those folks in the tri-cities sure do have some beautiful lyrics, melodies, and big ole hearts.
Played the night concert and thoroughly enjoyed being blinded by the lights. Such a surreal experience. Feels like you're playing in the living room but you know hundreds of people are listening intently.

  The Creeping Time Trio
Saturday, Aug 25, 2007 Conor Byrne Pub Ballard, Seattle, WA

Friday, Aug 17, 2007 Private Event Washington

Wednesday, Aug 8, 2007 Skagit County Fair! Mount Vernon, WA
Two fun sets. We were sandwiched by some really fun acts. Plenty of 'synth' bands, performing pigs (no, Mick didn't fight them this time), singing cowboy (and yodeling), rainbow socks, and hip-hoppity dance moves.
We knew things would be fun when, upon arrival, a man from the senior center showed Michael his underwear.
Sunday, Aug 5, 2007 Brewers By The Bay Bellingham, WA
Invited up by Ron Hardesty, we were proud to contribute our time to an event that raised over $20,000 for the B-Ham food bank. Right on, Rotary!
Saturday, Jul 28, 2007 Camp Michaelim! Orcas Island, WA
Michal and Michael are now one! We had a beautiful weekend at Doe Bay on Orcas Island celebrating the marriage of our tall friend! Lots of guest musicians jumping in with Creeping Time to entertain the party with the full moon spotlight! Congratulations Michal and Michael!
Saturday, Jul 21, 2007 The Island Festival Whidbey Island
Many thanks to Drew and Martha (and Jacob) for creating such a great festival. We had loads of fun, met great folks, and got to take a breathelizer from the Sherriff (just Kjell). Great acts, Dave got to meet Karl Denson, and we danced circles around Mother Earth. Hope to be there again next year...not to be missed!
Saturday, Jul 14, 2007 Yakima Folklife Festival Yakima, WA
  Poster: Yakima Folklife Festival

First set 5:45PM - in the park @ Memorial Hospital Stage
Great set in the hot July sun! Going on last, they gave us a little extra time to play. Really enjoyed the folks who checked it out - from those intently listening, the crew of dancers, and the sound guys singing along with the 'If I'd Known' and 'L & N'!

Second set 9:30PM - Downtown @ The Depot Restaurant/Lounge
Arrived in time to check out Westerly. I saw them about a year ago - and though they were great then - they're pretty incredible now! Also on the scene was Ockham's Razor. Though not playing (they played an awesome set earlier at the museum), they were whooping up the place. Thankfully they stuck around for our set and helped make it a night to remember. Great loud sound and a hot and packed small room made for some inspirational times. Carrie Clark & the Lonesome Lover(s) finished off the night in fine fashion. She had people clapping/tapping along and rolling with some witty banter.

Finished off the night hanging out with some of the Depot staff and friends. All ending up in a fantastic pen/shirt orgy - don't worry, it sounds kinkier than it was ;)

Other faces that were a pleasure to see again were Dan (of the Sports Center) and Deadwood Revival. Thanks much to the Folklife Festival for having us - a great scene with great folks all around!
Friday, Jul 13, 2007 Conor Byrne Pub Ballard, Seattle, WA
Kirk Reese kicked off the night (and his birthday weekend) with some beauties. King County Hayride did Bill Monroe proud with some great picking, super song selection, and high lonesome gem-o-voicings!

We had the entire 6 member group going that night - Ken, Dave, Michael, Kjell, Tom, and Mick. Crowded stage and a new sound guy and sound system. Experimental all around and fully enjoyable. Electricity came to the fore for the second set and the world bathed in the beauty licks laid down by Danger Mick and crew!
Monday, May 28, 2007 Northwest Folklife Festival Seattle Center, Seattle, WA
Poster: Northwest FolklikfeHearty and happy busking adventures - with or without the distractions of the bible thumpers and the bible thumper thumpers... Enjoyed everything that had to do with this weekend:
from cold hard strings to summer heat
and all the music in between
Friday, May 25, 2007 Jules Maes Saloon Georgetown, Seattle, WA
Aaaaaahhhhhh Yes! Back in Seattle. Hey, there's Woody and Tommy and Scott/Jess/Drew/Emily and King County Hayride, and Tom's bro and the Mr Nathan Wade and the Harporats and Michal and Sheri and Kirk and Liz and Erin and Joy and Mollie and the Mrs Glosson and you were the tinman and you were a Cowardly Lion... Yes the camfields laid thick and the sound in the room was great. Thanks to all for coming out and making us remember why its so dang fun to play in public!
Friday, May 18, 2007 Green Frog Acoustic Tavern Bellingham, WA

Poster: Green Frog Acoustic Tavern, 5/18/07
Good times at the Frog. Interesting night as it went from many people to 2 back to many. Happened to be competing with the Grizzly Bear Festival - not a good thing to do in a small town... Thanks to the dancing ladies - you made our night!
Friday, May 11, 2007 Yakima Sports Center Yakima, WA
Fun times in Yakima - thanks for having us, Dan. Not as many TVs as one would expect from a Sports Center, but the sign out front made it look more like a hunting club. Our first night with Tom and he picked out a storm on Ken's little baby. The Harborrats followed with a great set that had actually been rehearsed! Band mates swapping in and out all evening made for fun times - except for the drive home...
Wednesday, Apr 11, 2007 Tractor Tavern Ballard, Seattle, WA

Poster: Tractor Tavern, 4/11/07
Fun fun times at the Tractor. A good group of folks turned out on a Wednesday and we appreciate every last one!
Miss Mamie Lavona the Exotic Mullata and her white boy band started the storm out with gale force winds. Michal said "Don't have them open, they'll show you guys up!" Michael agreed and they gave the people just what they deserved - loved the tequila shot smooch, Amber ;) We pulled out some things we'd been working on and it was quite exciting to see them come off hitch-free. With Teo joining us we reached triple fiddle overload. Love that Tractor sound system. The Crying Shame finished things off with their driving wall o' sound. Great night overall - loved the mix and intensity of music.
Wednesday, Apr 4, 2007 Boundary Bay Brewery Bellingham, WA
Great times all around. Drove things hard for about an hour and were followed by the Brent Coalminers - a bluegrass tinged mixed bag of intensely talented B-ham players. Big thanks to Shanna and Janet for making it happen and for all y'all who showed up. Bellingham's starting to feel like a second home :) ...now ain't that warm and fuzzy!
Saturday, Mar 31, 2007 Conor Byrne Pub Ballard, Seattle, WA

Poster: Conor Byrne, 3/31/07
Nathan Wade opened the night with a set of mostly solo tunes (though some accompanied by Lincoln Barr). Second set saw CT join in on the fun. The final 3 tunes were just plain awesome and really got the place buzzed - not to mention the dudes on stage (Dry up like a dream > Going over > Dead leaves).
We came up for an extended final set. Good times as the 5-piece rollicked once again. Lots of folks came out and we thoroughly enjoyed y'all's company!
Saturday, Mar 17, 2007 TS McHughs Queen Anne
7 - 1:30! A few setbreaks, but ahhh was it nice to stretch out. Played a couple tunes twice, but only by request, mind you ;)
Michael went through the entire process of being well, becoming ill, recovering, then revelling in fine health. That usually takes him a week...
Thanks to TS McHugh's, all the birthday folk, all friends, beer, food, and the Irish for letting us use their spirit.
Friday, Mar 16, 2007 TS McHughs Queen Anne
Great Friday night warmup to Saturday's ensuing malay!
Saturday, Mar 3, 2007 Snorting Elk Cellar Crystal Mountain, WA
See below - pretty dang sweet weekend once again!
Friday, Mar 2, 2007 Snorting Elk Cellar Crystal Mountain, WA
Tired from the long week, the Elk's snort breathed in new life. Returning for the 2nd weekend in 2007, we were greeted with plenty of kind faces. Great fun playing tunes when the room is abuzz with grooving asses!
Tons of snow - a little heavy and causing serious nap-time - it was just what the doctor ordered to cure a hangover ;)
Thanks to all... we love y'all!
Saturday, Feb 24, 2007 Green Frog Acoustic Tavern Bellingham, WA
While most acoustic birds flew south, we headed North to the land of peanuts. Jeff Lefferts and Scott Miles showed up and helped liven up the action with some fun Bones and Banjos. Michael sure was happy as one jam turned into a percussion circle - yes, just like being naked in the woods...
Kevin kept the bar tip-top while James was out of town and Mr Ron kept the Hardesty spirit fresh.
Friday, Feb 9, 2007 Conor Byrne Pub Ballard, Seattle, WA
Our first CB show in 2007 and what it night it was!
The Whisky Swillers kick-started things with a launch back into yesteryear with fabulous music and awesome suits.
The rest of the night consisted of high energy jams and plenty of dancing to go round! Oh yeah...
Friday, Jan 26, 2007 Snoqualmie Timberline Lodge Snoqualmie, WA
Kicking it at the lodge. Thanks to Stefan for the sound and booking. Thanks to Hillbilly Tommy for the inspiration and getting Ken's hat back. Thanks to the 'dancing ladies' for ensuring attention towards the stage. I love that C porn, don't you!
Saturday, Jan 20, 2007 Green Frog Acoustic Tavern Bellingham, WA
The first 'CT trio' show in at least 4 years and it was quite a hoot! By the end of the night Michael finally realized he was the only soloist and decided to let his Hendrix roots show a little... gotta love the distorted and wah'ed acoustic!
Thanks to all who came out, especially 'Mr Bones' Jeff Lefferts who tore it up on the bones and the dance floor. Yet again, a great time at the frog.
If you're reading this and living in B-Ham, head on down there to sign the petition to re-allow dogs...
Saturday, Jan 13, 2007 Snorting Elk Cellar Crystal Mountain, WA
Mostly summed up in yesterday's recap... but had to expand upon the incredibly sweet the mountain conditions. Lift lines were more than tolerable, there were fresh turns to be had even at the end of the day, Tommy failed to tackle or white-out anybody he didn't know...
Again, no downtime on the dance floor. Oh man, we love the elk!
Friday, Jan 12, 2007 Snorting Elk Cellar Crystal Mountain, WA
The Elk will not disappoint! This weekend was especially incredible due to three factors. 1) MLK weekend, meaning the entire lodge was booked; 2) Incredible snow; and 3) CT had all 5 Beatles present (Ken, Dave, Michael, Kjell, and Mick)!
The place was nice and crowded all night and there was little down-time on the dance floor. We met a ton of great folks and got to hang out with familiar faces from last year as well. Breck, Milo, SuperDave, Tom, John, Sarah, Jose, Ploughman's lunch, Red Bean soup, big screen TV, the GloFo crew, the ladies, Chamberlain, etc...
Great fun to all and to all a great time!
Saturday, Dec 23, 2006 Guitar Center Westlake Guitar Center, Seattle
Ken's song "Freezing to Death" had so much more meaning today! Shouts of 'solo' dropped Michael's heart low as he imagined his numb fingers bleeding without physical warning. But alas, all danger averted, leaving only good times and tunes featuring ourselves along with The Harborrats , Nathan Wade, and Rachel Ferguson
Wednesday, Dec 13, 2006 Jules Maes Saloon Georgetown, Seattle, WA
A whole lot o fun playing songs with our brothers in bands: The Harborrats , Nathan Wade, Scott Andrew, and Clayton Ballard and more...

San Francisco's Axton Kincaid started things off with some incredible tunage and beautiful everything. The Starlings continued to pour it on with their signature awesomeitsicness (© Andy S.). By the time we hit the stage the beer had taken roots and the energy was through the roof. Another night without Kjell, but again, Mick kept our asses from dragging and a great time and plenty of sweat was had by all. Thanks for dancing, everybody and happy birthday to the spoonshine dude!
Friday, Dec 8, 2006 Mandolin Cafe Tacoma, WA

Poster: Mandolin Cafe, 12/8/06
Great venue, great food, great music, roaring fire, awesome bathroom sink!
Michael O'neill started things out in style. We then played our first set in over 2 years without the aid of Mr. Kjell. Mick stepped it up and made sure things held tight. Thanks to the Gig Harbor crew - what fun gals!
Thursday, Nov 16, 2006 Benefit for Architects Without Borders Seattle, WA

A great benefit show for AWB - Architects Without Borders.
Thanks to Derrick for coming out off the Rock...next time we promise to get that projector running for you...
Friday, Oct 27, 2006 Bishop's Bar & Grill Vashon Island
Good times on 'the Rock'. Happy to see friends (new & old) from Big Bottom and other places. Nathan Wade got things going with a gripping solo set. We then put on our own show with Nathan coming back up for a giant musical orgy. Good thing this show was 21+...
Saturday, Oct 21, 2006 Conor Byrne Pub Ballard, Seattle, WA
A nice set by Skitterpup opened up the night. They've retooled and had some really cool instrumental interplay going on.
Mick Chegwidden joined CT for the entire night - lighting off crazy solos and pumping up the harmonies. Michael's parents joined in the fun and were happy to see all the fine dancing - as were we!
Another great night at Conor Byrne...
Saturday, Sep 30, 2006 Green Frog Acoustic Tavern Bellingham, WA
Yeeha! We had big expectations and they were all met and surpassed. A ton of interesting folks from Bellingham and beyond. Much dancing ensued. Even some terrific ensembles played the late shift after we were done. Spoons, Ukes, Pianos, and Sirens voices.
Dellapalooza ensured a wild night. Its going strong throughout October!!!! Hope you're having fun, ladies. We'll never forget chasing you down the street on your three person, two skate machine :)
Friday, Sep 29, 2006 CANCELED - Pacific Rim Brewing White Center, Seattle, WA
Show canceled. We may see you there this fall/winter...
Saturday, Sep 16, 2006 Rainier Mountain Festival Rainier Basecamp, Ashford, WA
  We love them mountain folk!
We played shortly after a presentation and Q & A time with some of the Legends of Mountaineering. Two hours of music, but it finally heated up (and cooled down) at the end. a group of young girls stepped out on the dance floor (gravel drive) and displayed some stunning mastery of various coreographed moves. By the last couple of songs other folks joined in and Kjell topped it off with a smoking Soldier's Joy. An encore was requested and as the frst notes hit, so did the first rainfall of the day. Nobody was detered in the least.
Thanks to the Rainier Mountain Fest for a great time, great food, and free beer :)
Saturday, Sep 9, 2006 Mukilteo Lighthouse Festival Mukilteo, WA
A great group of folks running this festival. We showed up to play the beer garden before the beer was flowing. Nobody was there and we were thinking things may be bleak. But the beer tents opened while the awesome sound staff helped us set up. By the end of the night, we had played 4 hours of music to a well stocked garden of good people. Hands a little tired, we had to shimy out quickly at the end. Though we were very interested in checking out the following band - a classic rock cover band complete with a Ziggy Stardust impersonator!
Saturday, Sep 9, 2006 Blue Moon Seattle, WA
Ken can now officially say he's played there. After 20 years of gigging in Seattle, Ken popped his Blue Moon cherry.

Quote of the night - "NO BEER ON STAGE - NO EXCEPTIONS"
Saturday, Sep 2, 2006 Tumbleweed Music Festival Richland, WA
Another great year at the Tumbleweed Music Festival - this one being the 10th anniversary. After learning our buddy Nathan Wade played earlier in the day, we met up and had him up for a song with us. Dinner and swimming at the Anderson's was a hoot as well. Who knew Kjell could cook?
Saturday, Aug 12, 2006 Private Event Corvalis, OR
Congratulations to Chad and Liane. Two great people with a whole slew of great friends. After an initial set, the Saucy Bowersox - consisting of Chad and numerous friends - played a number of bluegrassy tunes and were kind enough to let us join in! Once dark hit, we got back to playing and the good times flowed like hot fudge. Besides Michael's mandolin accident, all was good in the land of Dairy Queen...
Friday, Aug 11, 2006 Laurelthirst Public House Portland, OR
Another fun night with the Power of County. They gave us a nice long set where we got to explore some new space and get weird for the PDX crowd. Great pub and what a friendly town! POC finished the night with some fun 'intimate' table standing tunes...
Saturday, Aug 5, 2006 Green Frog Acoustic Tavern Bellingham, WA
What a night. James, purveyor of music and beers, treated us just right. By the end of the night the place was full of people listening intently. Quite a refreshing end to a gig-filled weekend. We'll be heading back in September and are PSYCHED!!!!!!!!!
Friday, Aug 4, 2006 Seafair Hydroplane Races Lago di Washington, Seattle, WA
Great sound system down at the park. A little too late to catch the blue angels, the crowd was sparse. But we did get plenty of hollers from the beer garden!
Friday, Aug 4, 2006 Stewart's Place Snohomish, WA
Interesting spot up in Snohomish. First guy we met immediately let us know about his affinity for getting in bar fights. A bad thing or a good thing? You be the judge. After the bridal party and some fun-dancing locals showed, the good times ensued.
Saturday, Jul 29, 2006 Private Function Big Bottom Valley, WA
Great times at the "Big Bottom" down along the Cowlitz!
Cool people, gentle vibes, and plenty of talented and exciting people. They let us get as weird as we wanted to and we're thankful for that :)
Thursday, Jul 27, 2006 Dubliner Seattle, WA
We ripped through a quick first set for this last minute gig. Michael stayed up to play a high energy show with the Harborrats. Good times and plenty of beer, eh?
Saturday, Jul 22, 2006 Conor Byrne Pub Seattle, WA
Crazy times on the hottest night of the year yet!
Shortly before CT was to play, Michael's cousin, Brian, from San Francisco made a surprise visit! About 30 minutes later, Michal's family from Israel joined in the fun - that wasn't a surprise, but just as exciting :)
As for the music... Bill and Jake, from Spoonshine, played as the acoustic duo 'Homestyle'. Their great songwriting and virtuoso instrumentalism wowed the crowd from the start.
By the time we got on, the climate and Homestyle had aptly heated up the place. Two full on sets ensued that included some longer jams, visits on stage by Jake Navarro (some of the best jams we've had all year), and a guest appearance by Bill's new Martin guitar after Michael lost a bridge pin. Thanks Bill, you saved the night!
Sunday, Jul 16, 2006 Private Event Gold Bar, WA
Congratulations to Fidelma and Randy! We ended up playing indoors on an incredibly beautiful day - whoops. Our 30 minute jam of Black Beans seemed particularly addicting to the youngens - we had em dancing and screaming for more!
Saturday, Jul 15, 2006 Private Party Seattle, WA
Hay-Bash III was quite a hoot. Kids with fancy band shirts, crazy hair, and dancing to the sounds of CT! Who knew so many people could fit in a backyard? Two other great Seattle bands also played wonderful and varied sets of music. Thanks to Hans and Jen for having us, and happy B-day H-ball!!
Friday, Jul 7, 2006 Jules Maes Saloon Georgetown, Seattle, WA

A great night with The Tallboys. They really brought super energy and some incredible songstering and bailarering!
Tallboy fiddler, Joe Fulton, sat in with us for the night and really shined. His impeccable fiddling (old-timey and swing styles) shined super bright. Hell, we could have just beat boxed and let him go and it would still have sounded great - "The fat boys are back (pbppbpbp hooo-ha...)". Thanks Joe, you make us happy!
Monday, Jun 12, 2006 El Corazon Eastlake, Seattle, WA
Who thought a Monday could be so fun?
Bellingham pickers Feed and Seed kicked things off in incredible fashion! Great picking, super jockey moves for solos, great vocals, etc... Very impressive!
Mudslide Stew followed up with some smooth rocking blues. Great guys and top quality musicianship.
Bottom Up Blues Gang spread the love from St Louis, Missou and captivated many a heart.
Our set was a whole buttload of fun (as fun as that can be). Most of the bands stuck around and their friends did too. A handful of our pals came out to support (thanks EDJ and Harbormice) and the dance floor stayed moving throughout our set. Michael was happy to play his new tune for the first time - and remembered all the words. A quick rockin set with some great folks. Good monday!
Monday, May 29, 2006 Northwest Folklife Festival Seattle Center, Seattle, WA
Ah yes, the Fountain Lawn Stage! Tons of great folks showed up and there was plenty of dancing - young, old, and in between. Nothing quite as inspiring as watching people twirl and hop around :)

The sun finally popped out and Monday was really a great full day for the festival. Tons of incredible musicians and acts, even more eager and friendly fans. Yes, it is all its hyped up to be...
Sunday, May 28, 2006 Northwest Folklife Festival Seattle Center, Seattle, WA
A whole bunch of really great bands doing Johnny Cash their own way. It was great to look out into the crowd and watch so many people singing along. A little chilly, but dry...
Saturday, May 13, 2006 CD RELEASE PARTY - Conor Byrne Ballard, Seattle, WA

An incredible night!
Captain Gravel started things off in wild picking fashion - warming up the place beautifully! The place was packed with tons of friends and new faces. We feel so bad for those who couldn't get in :( Though we must admit, it was a nice problem to have...

The first set was straight ahead with plenty of great dancing and great energy. Second set we were joined by a whole slew of fine musicians. Miller (captain gravel mandolin) joined in on L&N, Scott Andrew joined in on a new Ken tune and we backed him up on his own ditty - Big Lie. Ivan Lee, the engineer on "Cheap American Lager", lit it up with beautiful and rippin guitar. NOTE: After the first set, Michael heard plenty of compliments on his guitar work. After the second set, Michael heard plenty of compliments on Lee's guitar work :) Finally, while Lee was still on stage, Matt Rankin (of many bands - currently weather) joined in on Sax. With four soloists on stage and plenty of musical space to move, it was pure ecstasy - great dynamics, haunting melodies, and plenty of weirdness!

Our friends came out in droves and were joined by a ton of new faces. We truly appreciate all y'all's support. We distributed a whole lot of CDs and hope they're being enjoyed! With this kind of response, we've got our eyes set on the next recording...

Thanks to Mollie, April, Michal, Jamie, and Amy - the hard working ladies that made it all possible.
Monday, May 8, 2006 On Air Interview - 91.3 KBCS Radio & Internet
  KBCS, 91.3FM
We had a great time with the KBCS crew! Sean "the Gator Boy" Donovan was as friendly as all get out. And we got to meet a number of the other DJs and staff. We played "Cheap American Lager", "Miscommunication", and "Freeze to Death" - while remembering all the words. Lucky listener Paul won a CD and Kjell slipped in a Guns and Roses reference.
All in all, quite a success!

A really nice venue in neighborly Tacoma. We met some really nice folks and can't wait to get down there again...
Friday, Apr 21, 2006 Nectar Lounge Fremont, Seattle, WA
We completed our 45 minute sprint on the big Nectar system and proceeded to relax the night away. A great crowd and it was nice to see so many good friends and new faces.
B-Shorty followed up with a few solo tunes and then a morph into the
Panda Conspiracy's show. They brought up a lot of guest musicians and really rocked it out!
Saturday, Apr 8, 2006 Snorting Elk Cellar Crystal Mountain, WA
...and a second night. Our 7th and final Snorting Elk show of the 2005/2006 season. And what a time. Another night full of dancing and great jams. Breck, Milo, and John treated us right and we got in some skiing - powering through the slush and rain...
Friday, Apr 7, 2006 Snorting Elk Cellar Crystal Mountain, WA
Oh yeah! The place was jumping and the fun was oozing from the walls, mugs, fireplace, beams, and other interesting nooks... Our friend-o-friend Julia heated up the dance floor for several hours straight and Kjell gave a set-break fiddle lesson. Earl Klein, a friend from several other projects, joined in on Saxaphone and ROCKED THE JOINT! Oh yeah (dare I say it again), passing solos between the sax, mando, fiddle, bass, etc... Oh the joy!
Saturday, Apr 1, 2006 Dubliner Fremont, Seattle, WA
Our own Kjell Anderson was sick and we got the amazing Famous Jakob Breitbach to join us. Jake played with us a couple months ago and fell right into the groove. Great times!
A very sparse crowd at first, but things got heated with a late night burst of bodies and energy.
Big Dirt started off the night with Earl Klein visiting on Saxaphone!
Friday, Mar 31, 2006 Jules Maes Saloon Georgetown, Seattle, WA
A ton of great friends came out for our first G-town. Ken reminisced about his days living at the shed and Kjell rallied from a week long sickness to rip it up!
Portland's Power of County showed up in fine form to close out the night. Great guys and great musicians. Creeping Time gives them two thumbs, way up.
Saturday, Mar 25, 2006 Hazel Wolf Environmental Film Festival Leavenworth, WA
Fun times at the Sleeping Lady. Got to see some old friends, make some new ones and have some fun in the hot tub! Doug, we missed you and you're in our thoughts.
Friday, Mar 24, 2006 The 4th Ave Tavern Olympia, WA
Thanks to all our Oly friends for coming out and dancing! Dylan rallied the troops once again and we got to see Brad and Wendy happy to prove the Creeping Time Jinx wrong :)

Thanks also to Tony for the sound and light show - great soundguy. And to that masked spoon player who came up and jammed on Black Beans - nice stuff!

Portland's Oxcart closed out the night with some great tunes and jams. Nice guys to boot.
Saturday, Mar 11, 2006 Conor Byrne Pub Ballard, Seattle, WA
Good times all around. Saw some good friends and met some new ones. We whipped out a quick set of our own material - including a couple numbers joined by Kirk Reese. We then jumped up to back up Reverend Ippolit for his two sets - again, great energy from the Rev. And what good fun getting in on the electric action!
Saturday, Mar 4, 2006 Snorting Elk Cellar Crystal Mountain, WA
Second Night - plenty to go around. The first beat was accompanied by 'beautiful people gone wild'. Skin was flyin and groping was being handed out. The sound was great - always better the second night after the kinks are worked out - and we felt on fire. Mid set, a friendly face from Seattle, now Olympia, showed up - great to see you Andy, next time bring the Greenacre :) Again, heavy boozing, dancing, and sweat. Finally, Rich of the weekend proceeded to thieve our last CD - thanks mr. Rich Dubay. And no, we will definitely not be playing the Eagles Lodge in Oly for you and your friends nor will we give you the CLAW.
Friday, Mar 3, 2006 Snorting Elk Cellar Crystal Mountain
First night - a great night for Rich spotting! Lots of boozin, dogs, and smoke. Warmed up the weekend nicely with Breck and John's help. Especially key was Milo's offensive lineman manuevers to defend the band from drunk-dancing Riches :)
Tuesday, Feb 21, 2006 Toast - butter side down Fremont, Seattle, WA
Big Dirt and Reverend Ippolit played great tunes followed by a quickie set from CT. Sound guy was real cool as well. Hats off to the late-night Callison crowd celebrating birthdays and new jobs!
Friday, Feb 17, 2006 Timberwolf Lodge @ Summit West Snoqualmie, WA
Great times at the Timberwolf lodge! Stefan treated us right, took care of the sound, and the beers :) Great group of locals - real nice people and didn't fear the shotski...
Friday, Feb 10, 2006 Conor Byrne Ballard, Seattle, WA
We met some great new people and got to hang out with old friends as well. Second set got way out there - took some grooves straight from the dragon's lair and Michael was even encouraged by Ken to do some freestyle!
Kim Ruehl opened up the night with a great set and even let us join in a couple!
Saturday, Jan 21, 2006 Snorting Elk Cellar Crystal Mountain, WA
We had a fun experiment getting way out there on Friday and pulling it tight on Saturday. Both nights played to the crowd well. Though each set had a little different scene - including some jammers at the end of the night :)
Next time I want to be in Milo's shoes...he danced with every woman in the place!
Friday, Jan 20, 2006 Snorting Elk Cellar Crystal Mountain, WA
Real loose night. Arrived in time set up and start playing pretty quickly. Ken broke a string for the first time in 4 years! Kjell climbed a table during Soldier's Joy and Michael did a heart-felt rendition of Christina Aguillera's Genie in a Bottle
Friday, Jan 13, 2006 Conor Byrne Ballard, Seattle, WA
What a night! Greenwood started it off right and the incredibly talented Captain Gravel blew the doors off. Great pickers, great people.
Our set was as filled as the venue with dancing and good energy. First time I've seen Conor Byrne with a 20 person line to get in! We even introduced two new songs without a hitch - straight tracks & every pointed star. Overall a pretty dang good time!
Friday, Jan 6, 2006 The Rainbow U-District, Seattle, WA
Fun times with The Moriartys and The Post Moderns.
Our musical acrobatics were quickly shown up when that guy started doing backflips on the dance floor!
Monday, Dec 12, 2005 Nectar Lounge Fremont, Seattle, WA
Who thought Monday could be so fun? Big sound on the Nectar stage, plenty o good friends, and some nice new folks. The Blue Turtle Seduction from Lake Tahoe, CA followed up with a great set of their own and all was good in Seattle.
Saturday, Dec 10, 2005 Private Event Crystal Mountain
Congratulations to Tim and Kathy! We really whooped it up at the Snorting Elk. Great bunch of folks, great night, fun skiing. All in all a great time had by all.
Special thanks to 'Famous Jake', who filled in for Kjell and really burned it up!
Monday, Dec 5, 2005 FADO Pioneer Square, Seattle, WA
Read Reverend Bubba Levi's blog from the last Roots Rock night at FADO. The tight stage and low-key atmosphere made for some great jams. Rich's abound!
Friday, Dec 2, 2005 Dubliner Fremont, Seattle, WA
Good times at the Dubliner! Good friends and high energy jams. If we're lucky, one of the S triplets will release a new Sasquatch song dripping with Dromedary bits...
The Longnecks made it in safely from Spokane and played some great Texas blues to close out the night.
Saturday, Nov 19, 2005 Conor Byrne Ballard, Seattle, WA
Thanks a million to Nathan Wade and Sam Russell for their last minute heroics!
Another great crowd at the Conor Byrne dancing the night away and having a real good time.
Kelly gave Rod a good run for his money with her Hula Hoop moves :)
Saturday, Oct 22, 2005 Private Party Issaquah, WA
Great times in Issaquah! High quality p-carving, dancing on the ground and in the water, beer drinking dogs, great music, camping fun, men in frilly red dresses, gypsy dancing, summoning the ghosts of Phish past, no-complaints! Thanks to Ken and Kelly for their hospitality and have a hoot recovering from this one...
Tuesday, Oct 18, 2005 High Dive Fremont, Seattle, WA
Tuesday night rock, eh? Well, it looks like grassrock fits the mold :) Thanks to Torr & Mary for their continued support and to Lauren for dancing away the entire set! Strange Jerome and 50 Grit surrounded us with surely enjoyable sets.
Friday, Sep 23, 2005 Conor Byrne Ballard, Seattle, WA
Happy Birthday everybody! With about 20 minutes for the CT set, we managed to get out about 5 tunes. Thanks to Ken for reminding Michael that Dreaming in the Kitchen's in E minor :)
SCOTT ANDREW put on quite a show with Megan's workhorse efforts on the cupcake duties. Even Scott's parents got in on the fun, coming in all the way from Ohio and sticking around till they kicked us out!
Scott and Birthday boy Craig, from HOT LAUNDRY, heated things up nicely to kick things off and NIGHTHEART delivered a nice high energy set to prep Scott Andrew.
Saturday, Sep 3, 2005 Tumbleweed Music Festival Richland, WA
Ah yes, what a great time! Playing for the third year, its starting to feel like home. We got to see some old friends and make some new ones. Thanks to all who attended our set and gave us great feedback afterword. We really appreciate it and hope to see y'all again next year - or maybe sooner :)
Saturday, Aug 20, 2005 Conor Byrne Ballard, Seattle, WA
A full night of great music! Everyone was spot on and we had a full variety. Angie Reed and her band were awesome. Twirl filled it out with keys and harmonies, Lee Tyler Post dropped some beautiful vocals on us, and we finished it off during after the clock struck midnight.
Thursday, Aug 4, 2005 AIA Conference - Private Party SODO
What could be more fun than a room full of young, enthusiastic architects, hmm?
Only, perhaps, Kjell "Axel" Anderson rockin' da house?
Saturday, Jul 30, 2005 Conor Byrne Ballard
Ah yes, what a great time! Scott Andrew rocked the house and set the tone for a great night. Dave's Birthday proved to be great fun when Mollie delivered the cake on stage and offered it to happy CB patrons. Sam Russell injected some necessary energy by leading us with his version of Black Beans. Later on, Matt Rankin of M-Blue joined us on Saxophone and really re-made some tunes in a beautiful way. Ken closed out the night with an acoustic - 'on the floor' - version of Gin & Juice with all remaining people hollering along!
Saturday, Jun 25, 2005 Private Wedding Orcas Island
Congratulations Jeff and Meira! Beautiful location for some nuptialation and we had a great time playing into the night.
Thursday, Jun 2, 2005 Sam Bond's Garage Eugene, OR
What a great time! Thanks to Heidi's legwork and support we had a wonderful show. Some great dancing and met a bunch of great new people. We hope to see y'all again real soon...

We were lucky enough to have Sean Shanahan join us for some Banjo pickin fun.
Sunday, May 29, 2005 C & P Coffee West Seattle
Nice little coffee shop in West Seattle. Got to meet/reunite with an old buddy, Nathan. Also got a pretty good recording...
Wednesday, May 25, 2005 High Dive Fremont
CT once again backed up Scott Andrew for a special 'full band' show at the High Dive in Fremont. Great times when Ken and Michael get to bust out the electricity and turn up the gain!

Every Day Jones followed up with some technically mindbending roots joy!
Thursday, May 19, 2005 High Dive Fremont
Its hard to compete with a nail-biting elimination Sonics game, but we did our best. Some great friends came out and we had a blast with the enormous sound systen.

The Panda Conspiracy kicked some crazy nice sounds - highly recommended. And Justin King had some crazy guitar heroics going on.
Saturday, May 7, 2005 SUNSPLASH University District
Creeping Time took on the capes of the Walking Birds as backup band to lo-fi acoustic pop superhero Scott Andrew. We had a great time playing with Scott - great guy, great songs. Its lucky we did Scott's songs, because I can clearly envision Kjell ripping out Soldier's joy and getting worked up enough to leap off the stage into the pool about 15 feet down...

Thanks to our mutual friends who braved the Delta Chi fraternity backyard to offer support! And thanks to Justin of Delta Chi for welcoming us into the stellar lineup.
Saturday, Apr 23, 2005 Private Benefit Performance Seattle, WA
Great time playing for the Northwest Montessori School Auction Benefit at the Seattle Design Center hall. Wonderful sound provided by soundman Kyle Blevins.

Our buddy, Sam Russell, was working the event as well and joined us on stage for a really cool and origianl rendition of Black Beans.
Friday, Apr 15, 2005 Conor Byrne Ballard, Seattle, WA
"BLIMEY!" said Kjell, "We haven't danced a jig at 'ye olde conor byrne' in a fortnight! Ceoil agus craic! [Singing and a good time]"

And Ceoil agus craic it was. We had a great time with Rod on the Hula Hoop and Tommy working beers :) Skitterpup once again blazed the stage with strings and singin!
Thursday, Apr 7, 2005 Central Saloon Pioneer Square, Seattle, WA
Diesel Truckers rocked it out and Simon Wagstaff brought it home. Sandwiched in the middle we played our hearts out - even with half the band deathly ill. Thanks to all the dancers and CT superfans Michal and Sam!

Great show, fun dancing, and we've got it on video to prove it - check the music section and there may be some clips available soon...
Friday, Apr 1, 2005 AS Productions Underground Coffee House Bellingham, WA
Sharing the stage with Bellingham's Bucklebusters was quite a hoot.
Monday, Mar 28, 2005 Fado Downtown Seattle
Another great night with the Reverend Bubba Levi Greenacres officiating and a good showing from the Soccer team. All in all a great kickoff to the next couple months of performing/recording.
Saturday, Mar 5, 2005 Private Party Carnation, WA
Good ole time in the A-Frame comforts at Brian's house. Good times and some dancing to boot!
Saturday, Feb 5, 2005 Dubliner Fremont, Seattle, WA
What a night, the place felt electric! Michal's birthday and a ton of friends. The Dubliner got a new sound guy, Eric, and he sure is worth the investment - great sound and a pleasure to work with. Hurricane Ridge finished off the night and sounded awesome - as expected :) Thanks to all y'all who got your ass's shakin!
Saturday, Jan 22, 2005 Benefit Concert Queen Anne
A great venue for a great group of folks. The dancing, the high-flying streamers, cold beer, and happy kids made the place feel like a mystical summer night.
Monday, Nov 15, 2004 Fado Downtown Seattle
Great show! Thanks to all who came and danced and hollered. Our first night as a four piece and we didn't miss a beat - or too many anyway... Super sound and night provided by Dr. Reverend Bubba Levi.
Friday, Oct 29, 2004 Conor Byrne Ballard, Seattle, WA
Skitterpup once again provided a great set of music. We played a tight show at what ended up being our last official show with the complete lineup. This was Adam's last show with CT as he is pursuing a solo career. Good luck Adam!
Saturday, Oct 2, 2004 Wedding Flagstaff, AZ
Yeehaw! Congrats to Fred and Alex. 5 jumps, Kjell broke the stage. Great set of folks and we had a great time. As the ground was a bit lumpy and cow-pie ridden, the dancing happened on stage with the band. Music and festivities lasted late night by the camp fire and a good time was had by all - especially our jolly John Prine player Ken :)
Saturday, Sep 25, 2004 Private Party Ballard
Yah, Das ist gut. The Jaegermeister flowed steadily.
Saturday, Sep 4, 2004 Tumbleweed Music Festival Richland, WA
Headlined the Saturday night concert at the Three Rivers Folklife Society's annual TUMBLEWEED MUSIC FESTIVAL. In the spotlights on an outdoor stage in the dark. Great sound and you could only hear/feel the audience. After the end of each song you could hear a pin drop, then when the last sustained note faded came the applause and cheers. It was very inspiring! Thanks for all those who stayed and listened into the night. And thanks to the Cutters for letting Kjell borrow a fiddle after busting a string :)
Saturday, Aug 28, 2004 Kenmore Good Ol' Days Festival Kenmore, WA
Watched the Ferris Wheel go round and round.
Saturday, Aug 21, 2004 Private Party Seattle, WA
We played outdoors on the first rainy weekend of the summer! Kris and Tony did a killer job of hanging Robinson Crusoe style roofing (tarps). Gin & Juice, and homemade Mojitos, really got everybody rocking :)
Friday, Aug 20, 2004 Conor Byrne Ballard, Seattle, WA
Skitterpup rocked the first set. Wonderful harmonies, a nice full sound, and good musicianship - and they're nice to boot :) We had a great couple of sets. Really felt tight and had a lot of fun!
Saturday, Aug 14, 2004 Eastlake Shake Eastlake, Seattle, WA
We showed up just in time to see the final leg of the Pet Parade, led in by Peepers the Duck. Interesting stage, we played on the steps leading up to a school. Kjell did his best Sammy Hagar and slid down the railing while ripping a solo! Too bad we were playing when the kickball championship started, we didn't get to play :( We highly recommend you check out the band that played before us - Muckner. Real nice songs and good folks.
Saturday, Aug 14, 2004 Wedding Seattle, WA
Congratulations Jon and Scott and have a great national tour! A lovely ceremony with a bunch of great people, capped off with a cool jazzy number performed by a couple friends of theirs. We played in Dave and Mollie's great new backyard and had an all around good ole time.
Saturday, Aug 7, 2004 Cross Family Reunion Machia, WA
Shortly after senior nap-off, we got to share in the awesome buffet and hit the stage. Some great dancing was had. Congratulations to Mike and Deidre and thanks for the hospitality!
Thursday, Aug 5, 2004 Central Saloon Pioneer Square, Seattle, WA
Seafair weekend on Biker's night! Uniforms of black leather and white poly. All in all a great show. The The Screamin' Devilles rocked out the first set and were followed with a great set by the The Johnson County Band.
Sunday, Aug 1, 2004 Seattle Peace Concerts Woodland Park (Shelter Area #1)
Late night, early rise, and sleeping without a blanket made the energy hard to come by. But the great weather and great people at the park helped a lot. All the acts today were great. Talented musicians and nice people all around. SeaPeace concert series receives 5 thumbs way up.
Saturday, Jul 31, 2004 Wedding Quinault, WA
First off, congratulations Brad and Wendy! Thanks to all who made the days events such a darn tootin good time - especially Mark, our initial contact and hospitable host. All the friends and family were completely nuts on the dance floor :) And the "dance battle" during Born to Run was one for the ages. A beautiful day, beautiful people, what more is there to say...
Friday, Jul 23, 2004 Conor Byrne Ballard, Seattle, WA
Ahhh, what hot night - in all senses of the word! We were joined by the rocking and generally great guys fom Ten Mile Tide. Despite a couple equipment bugs, we had a great time. This was surely a great kickoff to the next couple months full of CT shows. The only dissapointment of the night was not getting Kjell and TMT's Steve up on stage to rip through some fiddle tunes together... next time :)
Saturday, Jun 19, 2004 Fremont Fair the center of the universe
Playing down at the Daylight stage was a blast. A lot of good people showed up and some them even danced! Sit in drummer "Soupbone" made his first CT appearance in several years and did a fantastic job!
Friday, May 28, 2004 Conor Byrne Ballard, Seattle, WA
The The Tallboys gave a stellar performance in the opening set.
Our first set ended with an on-stage appearance by Joe, the TB fiddler. Kjell and Michael both got to trade licks on an inspiring jam. Second set we were joined by fiddler, Lou. Kjell and Lou's intertwining riffs were reminiscent of stories about musicians making deals with the devil. Overall, it was a very exciting night!
Saturday, May 15, 2004 University District Street Fair University District
Played the Chevron stage. Situated at the end of the food court during the lunch timeslot made for a good crowd. We were blessed with the beautiful singing of two of Adam's students from his Songs for Peace class.
Saturday, May 15, 2004 Private Party Arlington, WA
What a great time - wonderful people, beautiful setting! We played a couple sets, ending with some weird experimental jams. Creeping Time introduced its first freestyle rap. Highlights of the night: Jonathan's B-day, Sooze in all of her greatness :), jamming with Eddie on the Banjo-Ukelele, jamming with Tyson on guitar, fireworks, beautiful artwork, food & beer.
Sunday, Apr 25, 2004 Charity Auction for Local Schools Seattle, WA
Played the charity auction benefit for the Seattle Montessori school system as well as auctioning off our services. We were joined on stage for an impromptu version of the Jefferson's "Movin on up". Today we were also officially dubbed "Seattle's premier acoustic band" :) - phrase coinage, guest performer and auctioneer were all the lively and talented (contact us if you know his name...)
Friday, Apr 16, 2004 Conor Byrne Ballard
Openers Undersea Passage perfomed a set of their great songs.
We had a great time - felt especially tight tonight. We were especially inspired by the great short-notice turnout of friends and a couple new pals Ken and Michael met at the Hopvine's open Mic a couple days earlier.
Friday, Apr 2, 2004 Conor Byrne Ballard
Another great show at CB. Plenty of musical experimentation taking place. Tried out some new songs and new sounds - Kjell busting out the Mandolin, Michael with the "LA Metal" distortion, and the "Pop Hit" jam being unleashed. Thanks again to all who came out!
Saturday, Mar 20, 2004 Hazel Wolf Environmental Film Network Sleeping Lady Resort - Leavenworth, WA

Saturday, Mar 6, 2004 Harry's Haven Ballard
Great show in a fun, friendly, and cool atmosphere of Harry's Haven - 5016 20th Ave NW (on 20th b/w Ballard Ave & Leary Way). We got a chance to mix up the instrumentation and sounds a lot. Thanks to everyone for putting up with our experimentation and we're glad you stuck around all night! And a special thanks to our fabulous host, HarryO!
Friday, Mar 5, 2004 3B Tavern Bellingham, WA
Opened for Rantmusic. These guys were great! High energy and super tight music.

Interesting show - Dave was supposed to use Rantmusic's drum kit, but they were held at the Canadian border crossing and didn't arrive until 11:30 (we went on at 10:00). A little ingenuity and some duct tape and we ended up playing a great set. Thanks to all who showed up and danced!
Friday, Feb 20, 2004 Connor Byrne Ballard
First show of 2004 and what a great night it was! A great turnout of old friends and new listeners. Thanks to everyone for coming out, dancing, and listening - here's to more great shows in 2004...
